Annual Membership Fees are Due on 1 October. Annual membership fees for the 2012/2013 year are due to be paid from 3 September 2012. The 2012/2013 year officially commences 1 October and will expire 30 September 2013. Note: the expiry date is fixed regardless of when you register in September. New Members New swimmers interested in joining should contact the registrar by email or phone prior to their first club meet attendance. The registrar will then arrange for details to be entered in to the system that is used for Club Night participation. New members are asked to bring a copy of relevant birth certificates or similar. No new memberships will be accepted without all relevant paperwork that includes sighting of date of birth, Wests membership card (if applicable) and a completed Club Member Registration form (available below). At the time of registration, all volunteers, both minors and adults, will be asked to sign a copy of the Prohibited Employment Declaration. This will be handed out at the time of new member registration, or may be downloaded here. We have been informed that under legislation sporting clubs are required to ensure any volunteers sign the declaration and it must be held on file by the club for a period of 2 years after that person ceases all involvement with the club. Minors who volunteer will be asked to co-sign with a parent/guardian. If you do assist either regularly or even on occassions at swim carnivals, please sign the form and submit it to the Registrar. |
